Did they have color Xerox machines to make flyers back then? ;)

This picture really suits the challenge well. However, it is quite grainy or noisy which detracts from it for me.

I like it, but it's a little noisy. Noise removal and usm would help.

Nice colors. I don't know what is wrong with this picture. Too much noise.

Picture seems to be very noisey. Less of a crop and more of the theater may have worked better for this picture.

This movie house lobby has great potential as a lovely subject, It is clearly a difficult one as the poor lighting causes the camera to be set such that you cannot avoid producing digital noise.
There are too many anachronisms in the image to make it convincing for the year you've chosen--the strand of Christmas lights and the numerous, small, computer-printed color posters just give it away.

I like the idea here. The grain, the old looking colors are fitting of an aged photo but since this is 1928 I think you would have been better served making this black and white.

There's either camera noise, or too much post processing. The image also seems a bit out of focus. I would have liked to have seen this in a sepia or B&W.

Nice subject, but the photo is much too blurry and grainy for me to focus on anything very well.

This reminds me of going to the movies as a kid in an old theatre house in the early 70s. I like the composition but the noise is so distracting.
