When looking at this picture I'm reminded of when I was at my grandfather's funeral looking through old photo albums at pictures that I can barely remember the real memory. Like I did then, I feel here that same pining for the time that was, remorse that I didn't cherish those times enough, and a newfound determination to make more memories of the now. I love that feeling.

This is such a powerful and emotional image; grain is a difficult thing to add to an image without ruining it, but the addition of grain works wonders here. Excellent capture!
