Fantastic lighting and nice pose, but the composition is perhaps a bit too central, you could crop the space on the right I feel. Rexy's face is probably turned a bit too much to his right, leaves his right eye dark and hidden.

Brilliant lighting, composition. I love this photo. The only thing that stops me giving this a 10 is I find the sleeve on the left arm (right in the image) a touch too close to the mouth and a bit distracting. You've done a fantastic job here. 9

i think this is great technically, but the one thing that doesnt seem to resolve itself for me is the implication that he'll be using the shovel, yet his face is spotless, and doesnt really seem ready for dirty work. Well captured though, just my two cents.

This is very good, but I think you've cropped too closely on the right eye. It needs just a bit more space. That in my opinion is the only thing holding this image back.
