Chew Toy Portraitby TheStickComment: I can relate to this image as my parents have a dog who loves his chew toys. Your black background is nice. I'd love to see stronger lighting to really create a stronger 3D effect. |

Hotel Amsterdamby MichaelsComment: The more I look at this image, the more I like it. the overlay of the reflection on the city buildings makes an interesting mosaic. Adding the manican (sp) creates a fascinating image. Probably not the DPC crowd's favorite, but I really like it. |

Blown To Bits & Piecesby ramilComment: Overall nice fireworks. The color could be more saturated with more contrast to really make it pop. I'd love to see this in an asymetrical crop with the unusual corkscrew flare highlighted by cropping about a fourth from the left. |

tiles on Sparks Stby clictacameraComment: An interesting snapshot, but not quite making it as a strong photo. The left half of the image is stronger than the right, with the bag and cords providing distraction. I'd have cropped the image much tighter to include the woman's face, arms and the drill with the tiles in the background. |

Bits and itty bitty Piecesby MelethiaComment: You've used DOF to your advantage. I'd have put the upright bit in sharp focus rather than just in front of the bit. The horizontal bits have some nice leading lines. |

Abandoned Artifactsby howzitComment: Some nice detail including the feather in the needles. The lighting on the spines gives this image some punch. |

Scarecrowby mattforbesComment: This image makes me smile. I love the realism portrayed here. You've used the rule of 1/3s to your advantage. I think you could have added more impact by using a lower or higher viewpoint to get an angle that keeps the head away from the tops of the corn. |

Pieces of Heavenby kris11Comment: The world is beautiful when looked on from above. This shot shares some of that beauty. It seems to be lacking in detail and is soft. The colors are beautiful and the light trails add interest. |

Games Galoreby KeiomiComment: Nice idea. The lighting is rather harsh and doesn't add to this scene. A background that enhances the subject would be stronger than the carpet. I do like the metal players mixed in. |

Mostly bitsby jjbeguinComment: Interesting portrayal of a man with an unusual skill. I especially like the area closest to the man, including the old paint on the back. The checkerboard floor distracts me from the man's work. |
