self-2.jpgby kevrobertsonComment: I like your expression in this shot and your interaction with the equipment. The lighting is off in that the large red light on the left dominates - it could be cloned out or tamed down. The white light in the upper right is distracting - again cloning out would work. The strong reflections on the upper equipment are again pulling us away from your portrait. They could be toned down. I like the red lighting on you very much. It creates a wonderful mood. You may be able to crop this to create a better balanced composition. Try taking some off the left and top. I also like the perspective on this shot. Very strong and "manly." |

branchby tcmartinComment: Strong tonal range usage. The composition is off for me - too centered and not enough of the actual branching. I think a slightly lower shooting angle would have given a stronger composition. I do like the hardware in the foreground. 6 |

Dead Branch Driftingby ShecoyaComment: Beautiful piece of wood and setting. Your lake is pouring out the right side of the image or give the impression that it is. 5 |

IMG_5137by RikkiComment: You made the right choice. The lines on the other shot work much better. Also, the parking lot in the lower left of this shot doesn't enhance the shot. The small piece of green on the other shot would be overlooked (mostly) by the DPCers, but not the parking lot. I do like the foot placement on this shot. It has a very nice line. Wonderful concept. Congratulations on your strong showing.

Big Bendby trnqltyComment: This landscape has a nice foreground, interesting mid-ground and awesome distance. The colors work well here and the sky sets off the whole thing. Well done. |

Mexicoby trnqltyComment: The colors and textures are working well on this one. You are so sharp on the top half on the shot that it makes the brush seem out of place, since it is not as sharp. |

On the Borderby trnqltyComment: Not quite as strong as the 1st two. It is slightly OOF and looses the impact the other two had. I do like the colors in the mountains and sky especially. |
