The color is beautiful. I bet it was a magnificant sight to see. However, this picture is badly out of focus and does not give this sun rise justice. Plus, the magenta inner border badly distracts. It doesn't match any of the color in the photo. Leaving the entire border black would have been better.

Little Pink Houses

This picture looks like it came directly out of the camera with no post work. I would have cropped out the rest of the neighborhood as much as I could to have the colorful house fill the whole picture. Then worked on brightness/contrast and sauration to bring out the colors better. The top of the house appears slightly washed out. Also, would be best to turn off the date print on your camera. Very interesting and colorful house. Good subject matter for the challenge.

Nicely done. Perfect composition and well focused. The border adds a nice touch. Reminds me of a Hallmark ad. I like the placement of the pink rose to break up the red. The one stem sticking up out of the bear kind of confuses me and doesn't seem to belong there.

Very, VERY pretty. This is a job well done. Nice spring photo. The only thing I don't like is the black border. Perhaps, if there had to be a border, making it the color of the dark pink center of the blossoms would make it appealing...or having a very thin dark pink on the inside and a wider light pink on the outside. Just a suggestion.
