very interesting composition and nice use of wide lens. It seems to me that focus could have been much sharper. Looks like foreground is where it is focused.

This has the same problem I always have with making faces etc from a tree. They look great as thumbnail but the visualization vanishes when it is full size. When I move back about 10 ft from screen it works again. I am going to give you the benefit of doubt and assume it is my perception - 8

Just as a point of information. This is a female Eclectus, native to the Solomon islands. They are one of the few parrot species which can be sexed by color. The males are green with an orange beak. (I have one of each :-) ) Beautiful shot.
