The Blues Day 17by sherpetComment: Gotta love those Sherpet blues. I love the way you seem to be able to pull out such rich blue tones in your shots. I'm really enjoying your collages too! |

tree_tritoneby nixterComment: This is awesome. The tritone works so well to showcase the roots while not allowing the contrasts in the clouds and water to overpower them. |

Autumn Winds.jpgby IvoryComment: This is gorgeous. Is this Lake Ontario? You can almost hear the wave crashing on the shore. |

Misty Evening.jpgby IvoryComment: This has a real dreamy feel to it with the soft focus and muted colours. I love the overall blue tones. The only suggestion I would make to try would be to desat the colours a little on that clump of vegetation in the lower left corner as my eye is drawn to the red an brighter green there. Beautiful setting! |

windsurfer abandons shipby sfaliceComment: These shots are so cool! After looking at the original that you posted of this shot, my suggestion would be to leave more of the splash around his foot and legs so that it looks more like the water is spilling out as well. |

Solitary Treeby artvetComment: Love the clouds and tree silhouette. The black and white was a great choice with it. |

The View from Here....by AgaricusComment: I love the light you have captured with this shot. The shadows from the clouds and the bright bands from the sunlight add so much depth to this shot. Beautiful! |

Frostby justin_hewlettComment: I like the combination of the leaves and frosty snow bits. Nice angles for the shadows on the leaves too. I think a tighter crop might work with this shot too. Message edited by author 2006-11-01 10:13:18. |

Jennifer Faceby PixlmakerComment: Unless you really like the grey skin, my suggestion to get "artsy" with this shot would be to make it more high key by increasing the brightness to the point where you lose the skin texture but keep some of the shadows around her eyes and nose. Just paly around with an adjustment layer and see what it does for it. You should also try and take out the redness in the whites of her eyes. With the grey skin tones, the red in the eyes becomes very prominent. I like the crop and think this has potential. Keep playing, you never know where it will take you! |

Rock Pool_Eagle Bayby nixterComment: I prefer this colour version over the sepia one of this one. Having the sky a different tone seems to emphasize the rock pool so much more, and give it more strength. |
