Hosta in Bloomby lytaComment: For me, this image is a touch on the dark side and I'm wishing that the DOF had been a bit greater. The focused bud is obscured by a backgrounded flower that is not in focus and for me, this makes the focused portion of the image hard to find. I think I would have preferred a more simplified view of the flowers. JMO |

On the Dark Sideby KiwiShotzComment: You've got a very interesting pose and expression nut the unfocused approach is very distracting for me. I think this might have been much improved with a sharper image and maybe some photoshop processing to add to the expression captured. Maybe the Grunge action. JMO. |

Tucson Rain in the Desertby aznaturalComment: For me, I would have liked a little sharper image. Also, the intersection between the centre cactus and the horizon gives this image a staic feel for me. It sort of prevents my eyes eyes from exploring the whole image. JMO |

Corolla Sunriseby sibelingComment: I feel this photo could have benefited greatly from a CCW rotation in order to level the horizon. As the photo is so strongly tied to the horizon, this is a major distraction for me. The colours and sofnes of the sky are nice. I'm not sure if a longer exposure would have brough more mood to the water or not. JMO. |
