New York Minutesby roby21112Comment: Nice how this is more a sentiment conveyed of the challenge theme rather than a literal depiction. 8 for that. |

Blue Pacificby MickComment: Never seen such a beautiful blend of blue greens to pinks and lavender. Ditto about what smilebig4me1x said. (Just been checking out where Oregon exactly is - my geography of the US is rather hazy). :) |

Kid_Castle_Grad_0064_grungy.jpgby eschelarComment: Funny, I'm not very bothered about the softness of his face. The first thing that drew me to this is his expression and the softness seems almost natural since energy is not static but rather fluid (hope that makes sense). I didn't even notice the hair till I read your comments. Anyway my point is that, I'd focused on his face and crop out the other bits. This photo is all about the kid's expression, not his hair. The background is distracting and doesn't do his face justice. Just my thought. |

Kid_Castle_Grad_0143.jpgby eschelarComment: This is really a wonderful crisp portrait and it would have been much better if the red curtain filled up the white space on the right (guess you can't help that). Alternatively, you could do a slightly tighter crop up to his shoulders and that would solve the problem. :) The kid's expression is something to behold - such pride in what he's doing! |
