Neon Zoomby GordonComment: Very good example of zoom blur. The colours of the neon make this shot. The red, green, yellow, red streaks above Joe's is the only element I find distracting. Not much you can do other than re-compose I guess. Otherwise a great shot. One of my top picks. Good luck. :) |

Overwhelmedby jpochardComment: Very creative. How did you mount your camera to the chair? Did you use a high ISO or did you add noise. I'd like this better with less noise. Colours are nice and vivid. One of my top picks. Good luck. :) |

Special Deliveryby neilmwilsonComment: Great shot. Well executed. Very nice and crisp with great colours. It probably is going down a grade but to me it would have worked even better if you had rotated the image to make the cube van level. One of my top picks. Good luck. |

Dont feel like doing the laundryby heidaComment: Let me see if I can figure this out. You exposed the model and the clothes pins with flash in the dark. She moved and turned on the light. Then you zoomed wide to get the streaks and finish the shot. Well executed Heida? |

Radial Blur and Linear Blurby GeneralEComment: Slower shutter would have conveyed more speed/blur. I can see a little blur in the hub caps but the trees/hedge look more like shallow DOF to me. Hope this helps. :) |

Ironingby PDavisComment: If you had kept your iron in one place longer for part of the exposure or used a bounced flash, it would have made it stand out more. That way the viewer wouldn't have try and figure out where the iron is in the image. If it wasn't for your title I really would have had no idea what it was. I really think your idea was good but it was not executed as well as it could have been. Hope this was helpful. :) |

blurry poppyby thomkatComment: Your blur may have been the effect of wind or motion but to me it just looks out of focus/shallow DOF with the ground in relative focus. Can't really add anything that would improve the shot because I'm not sure what you were trying to accomplish. Sorry. Keep on plugging at it. :) |

Lady Bug Laneby dphillipsComment: The trail behind the bug is the motion blur? I really don't find the colours very flattering. Might not be easy to capture, but if you were trying to get the motion of the ladybug with a long exposure, a plain, preferably dark background would work best. Also if you are going to use flash (for most any shot) you should bounce it or diffuse it. Hope you find this helpful. |

50mph at 1/45 sec.by JasonComment: Great capture, nice and crisp in the middle of the car. A little more room in front of the car would add to the feeling of going somewhere. Was this taken with the window up in your car? Just seems like reflections, ie. above the sun roof - just a little distracting. Overall good job. |
