The composition puts the cranes as the focus in the picture - and I just don't find them that interesting here. The white bar on the right is distracting too. Could you have gotten further out onto the locks- maybe with a boat in the picture? I just think you could have done better.

Nice fall colors- it just doesn't do anything for me. Maybe because the sky takes up too much of the image.

The flowers and clouds are nice. The cars in the background are not helping though. You might have tried a lower angle for the shot to keep them out of it. Always pay attention to the background when you try to compose a picture. That helps me!

Neat shot. I am wondering how it would look with the train blured by motion with a slower shutter speed. Maybe a little more color saturation? Must have been a hazy day. The trees are very interesting and so is the composition.
