Ah, a flower and a baby in one shot. Only needs a cat to make it ever-so-slightly cliched ;)

The contrast between the bright colours of the flower and the soft shades of the baby are spot on. This really is top notch.

Stars and stripes

One of the best stars 'n' stripes photos I've seen. Looks like a well worn, quality flag. The detail on the stars is especially good. Seems a little strange seeing the stars filling the top half when you're used to seeing the whole flag, but it doesn't really detract (and is quite possibly more effective this way).

Nice and sharp. The brightness of the background somewhat overpowers the subject though - maybe because I'm used to seeing the clock as the bright white object.

Sunset Silhouettes

I'm glad you didn't go for the pitch black silhouette - the slight detail works very well. The sunset is very nice too, with plenty of cloud to add interest and a pleasant change from the usual garish oranges & reds. The yellow seems a little odd to these eyes, but it is London so I guess anything is possible!

What really makes this shot though is the boat. Perfectly placed in the "less interesting" side of the water, it give the whole shot that little extra. Superb.
