I know what you're going for but, it doesnt work......don't think crop ... think re-shoot. Also, remember that everything in your frame you are responsible for and I think that bit of trash beside your right foot just happened to be there.

I told my girlfriend that this weeks challenge was "comfort." She raised her leg and showed me her "house shoes." So, this must be good,
The positive: nice framing and good light (would have like a lbit of a reflector to get the sole of the right slipper.
The negative: wash those things! :)

The negative: horribly distracting background and give me that right heel.
The positive: great catchlight in the eyes, wonderful moment, and I actually like the overall framing of the shot if you'd drop it just a smidge (Note: the first time in my life I've used the word smidge! :) )

I'm going through my votes in reverse order and commenting on as many as I can .... this shot to me has a lot of potential and I actually think the grain......buh...'scuse me.....NOISE.....adds to the shot. That being said, it's lacking something to live up to the title.
Why am I going on? To me, artistically speaking, don't see going on here. Why would I leave the light to drop off the end into the dark?
I will say that you have me thinking....and, maybe that is the most important thing.....
I gave the photo a 3.
