Nice macro, I like the composition, I even like the angled division of light and dark with the buds being the divider. Well done

Another nicely done photo, Tim. The bench looks really old but didn't realize the teddy was so old. The green below the bench really adds to the "old" look of the bench. I like the composition, many people would have included the whole bench, but in my opinion this works much better. Well done

Not exactly your usual "color portait" but very well done. The lighting is fantastic, really seems like he is on a stage somewhere, with the pic of Jim in the background really adding to the feeling. Even the border is a benifit in my opinion. Really nicely done, composition, lighting, and creativity.

IMO, only- LOL, black and white seems to be a lower scoring medium than color, noticed that time and time again on dpc. That being said, nice photo, sharp, but missing that "pop" that is needed to score well above 5, does not matter to most voters the clarity of image, focus or creativity, if it does NOT have that pop factor, not going to score well!

Another well done from me!! Couple small comments though, for specific photo comments as this one is, I know I (and many others) like to see the photo details, length of exposure, iso setting, f stop, time of day/night, etc etc. Makes making suggestions a little easier.

As to your question concerning the power poles, I HONESTLY did not even notice them until you asked about them (talking about your larger pic), so is up to you, think you could clone them out all right, just do not know if you should bother!

P S, know you have not had much time yet, but PLEASE mark comments helpful after you asked for them - unless you do have a problem with one or more, of course!!

Different idea, I think the shine on the right side of tweenty probably hurt your score, as that is the very first thing that leaped out at me. I also think a tighter crop may have helped as there is a LOT of empty space. Maybe placing his eye in the lower thirds, cropping off about half of the empty space. Really do like the idea though.

Have to agree with the others, don't really know of anyway to improve it, nicely done.

Really cute idea, like the composition, the angle really adds some interest. Like how you included the pink flower to give it a little contrast. I wish the pot had not been so reflective and maybe just a wee bit sharper would have helped too. Overall nicely done.

Like the idea, love the drops of water, and overall a really nice picture. I agree that just a little bit brighter yellow probably would have jumped the score up a wee bit more. I also would have preferred to see the ends of all the petals, but that is just my personal opinion.
