Hot Love by h2Comment: Normally I wouldn't like to use such an industrial background for something like wedding rings, which are supposed to be soft/frilly/sparkly, but the repetition of all the circles works very well. |

The Vesselby aurorabComment: I love the simplicity. I wish the ring was centered to match the symmetry of the rest of the image. |

u n t i t l e dby Bear_MusicComment: I love the geometry in this. It definitely stands out from the million other fork images on this site. The light give this an almost religious feel, and I mean that in a positive way. Eating *could* be a religious experience when the food is prepared properly! One nit-pick: I wish the horizontal had been straightened. |

A Lion Rampantby lawrysimmComment: This is a nice shot as far as pictures of money go. The lighting does a great job of emphasizing the detail on the coins. This would do well as stock. I still can't help but wish that there was something more to add a little interest. |

Sharpen it in actionby michelaudetteComment: This could be a cool image, but I think the lighting lets the shot down. It's too direct, too harsh, and too flat. I would have moved the main light far camera left, almost pointing directly down the blade (I would have made this light much softer/diffused too). Then I would have added a relatively harsh (but still not bare bulb) light behind and camera left of the subject, slightly higher than the subject, to add a rim light. |

Objects Forgottenby Luci11eComment: I think the composition could have been better, especially if you were the one setting up the shot. The objects look like they are simply sitting next to one another, but in a great still life, they would also look like they were relating to one another to tell a story. The lighting is also a bit too flat to help give definition and emotion to the image. |

Stainless steel on stainless steelby IreneMComment: I love the light on the background, but I'm not so sure I like the reflections in the bowls of the spoons. I wish they were a bit cleaner to fit the calm, smooth, "honey"-esque mood of the image. And now that I've noticed that the spoons are different, I wish they had been pairs. You did a great job creating a tangible emotion with the color in this image though. |

Metal to metal, rust to rust by sarampoComment: Looks like your shadow in the foreground. Photog shadows rank right up there with reflections of the camera as a no-no in an image. |
