Love ice-cream !by svavaComment: I have an inkling that this shot was set up, but it tells such a warm story, that I wouldn't care anyway. And what a perfect example of an owner looking like the pet : ) The only thing I would change is the crop. Removing the geometric shapes (especially the circle) on the left would help keep the focus of the image on the woman and her dog. |

Danielby MelethiaComment: The quality of light here is stunning. Great composition too. I only wish you had cleaned up the crumbs on the face to made this look a bit cleaner. |

Alanby pawdrixComment: Great light. The grungy, semi-desaturated look works well, and I'm glad you didn't over-do it. |

The Old Timer by Yo_SpiffComment: This is such a great expression, but including the horses next to him would have added some context, which would help tell a story about such an interesting character. |

Julieby rooumComment: Wow, what a statement. The inclusion of the pin-up girl is very interesting. I really hope you have some notes on this image in the "Photographer's Comments" section! Great shot! |

Jump boys....Jump!by JudiComment: Great perspective with a fun subject, but I wish the guys were a little bigger in the frame. Still, cool image! The detail in the wood is beautiful! |

A Long Day's Playby AmmieComment: The blue in this image looks much too saturated, particularly where is shows up in the skin on the right side of the image. |

On a wallby Ragga2000Comment: Placing a bright reflective card just outside the frame would put a lovely catchlight in his eyes and make this image pop. |

A Street Performer In Soldier Costumeby DeenComment: Is that really natural light? If so, you found an absolutely perfect convergence of natural light, one of the best I've ever seen. The subject isn't looking at the camera, but this still makes a gorgeous portrait. What a wonderful expression! And I'm still drooling over the light. |

Quiltersby drydocComment: The white balance looks a little off. There is a heavy cyan tinge to the image. If the image were to have any type of color cast, I think yellow-orange would work best because it would fit with the "old time" feel of the image. I would have also loved to see a tighter crop on the lady to the right. She looks like she is very proud of her work and loves to play the part! |
