Viola!by rebs138Comment: Would have been bliss if it hadn't been grainy, in my opinion (although it looks as though you did the grain on purpose -- just my personal preference). What a great idea and good composition. Clever title too. ;) |

Shadowby EvaanComment: Nice silhouette, even nicer waves in the background. This is a really good image. |

c u b i s mby annahComment: Interesting subject! one of the more original-looking entries I've come across so far. The b/w is a good choice here, I think. |

Spiralby redinetComment: Simple. I like it. The spot of light at the top is a bit distracting, but I don't imagine you could have helped that. |

Camel Rockby SammieComment: I was thinking, "Nice!" even before I saw the title, but when I did, the camel just jumped out at me. Well, not literally; that would be pretty startling, wouldn't it. ;) I like the light on the tips of the foreground bushes, and the sky contrasts nicely with the subject. |

Supernova - our Sun's final shapeby PascalComment: This could be an interesting sunset picture -- I like the curve of the road -- but for this challenge I don't think it really fits very well. Also, it's a bit painful to look at the middle of it with the brightness. |

Oranges are round!by carloComment: I'm giving a lot of leeway on this because it's largely to do with artistic expression and personal taste, but for this particular challenge I think this would have been better composed if it showed one orange in its full roundness. I like the feeling of depth in this image, but the b/w is a bit perplexing -- seems like it would have really popped in color. |

Hydrangea Shapesby shudderbugComment: Interesting choice of subject! I think this image might have been better with a tighter crop -- maybe a closeup one of the clusters in its entirety with maybe parts of a couple/few others. The wood table is also a bit distracting with its lines -- I find a plain black t-shirt or a length of dark or white fabric helpful in situations like this. :) This is a nice effort. |
