You really have a great perspective/vantage point in this photo. I love the expanse of the overall landscape and the view this vista provides.

I also love the lighting of the shot, The shadows and the illimunated areas that the clouds have created are lovely and provide a lot of interest in the forground and peaks of interest in the background to give a great feeling of depth in the photo.

Your composition and sharpness are good, I really like the use of the rule of thids for the placement of the river, and the placement of the top of the mountain range as well.

My only issue is the area in which the sun is setting it is very blown out and screams for attention first over the entire beautiful scene you have placed before is. Perhaps an hdr shot might have helped in this regard?

This is beautiful, the composition is great! I love the foreground elements
that lead you throughout the frame. I like the transitioning of the sky from the sunset/sunrise color to the normal subtile blues on the left it is so dramatic. I also realy like the transition of the color reflecting in the water on the one side of the monolith to not on the other side. It really gives a feeling of peacefulness.

The detail on the monolith is nice. Is this HDR perhaps as I believe there is moredetail within the shadows for the positioning of the sun. Either way. Wonderful job.

I expect to see this in the Top 10 at the end of the challenge.

This is a very interesting way to photograph a waterfall. I like that you
decided to zoom in on a portion of the falls and capture the details of that
area instead of encompassing the entire falls and perhaps losing some of the
details that are often overlooked with large picturesque scenes in front of us.

The timing of your shutter speed is great. It gives good sense of motion thru the frame and gives a great sense of flow. The angles created by the rocks and the multiple hues of greens that are with in the frame provide both interest and good depth and composition to your photo. the sharpness is great, I want to reach in and feel the moss and get a feeling of texture from it.

The only thing I might have tried differently is the single leaf in the forground, I would have perhaps changed this with on that perhaps had a different hue. There is so much green within the photo that it feels like it fights for attention. I dont know if this was possible where you shot this, but an idea for the future perhaps.

The reflection in the pond is really nice, the water
is calm and it gives a very symetrcial feel to the photo.

Your Placement/composition of the frame is strong, the angle
created from the bridge gives nice depth and the positioning
of the the rear of the bridge being on the vertical 3rds makes
the composition strong.

An issue that I see with the the photo that I do see is the
highlights on the bridge is overexposed IMo, it really is over
brightened and has no texture or visual interest there. However,
being so bright at that point your eye is constantly being drawn to it.

Great positioning of your horizon in this frame to give a feeling of depth. Love the sun star that you have created between the monoliths. Perhaps putting the subject a bit more off centered would give more of a dynamic feel to the photo overall. Also, not sure but it feels we are leaning slightly to the right. Could be me but thought I would mention this as well.

Your depth is great on the reflection, the shot itself is very symmetrical. Your detail is very nice. However the photo itself feels a bit flat to me perhaps due to is being symmetrical. The horizion is dead center on the image and while there are some real nice highlights from the snow and texturing on the mountain there is no element that is giving the photo depth overall.

Good macro shot of the Wasp/Hornet. Your detail on the body is good, perhaps a tad sharper may help. The placement in the frame and composition is really nice, good use of rule of thirds. I love the diagonal you have created with the branch it is sitting upon.

Perhaps more Depth of field would have given you a sharper body and more detail in the wings. In my opinion for macro, you really want to emphesize the entire insect when doing the macro not just the body.

This photo has some really nice appeal to it, it is a good start. It has a good capture of a relfection of the sky in the water and some autumnal color changing for some good interest.

One of the things that grabs me on your shot is the horizon seems as though it is tilted to the left a bit. Fixing this would make it stronger overall. The other thing I notice is the brightness of the rocks in the foreground, my eye is brought to these first and back to them as they are the brightest thing in your photo. The eye is brought to you highlights and will continuously be drawn to them, perhaps limiting the overall effect of the photo.
