Awesome... I didn't vote this challenge, but I just love the way the curve of the shadow is perfect with the curve of the bowl. Very nicely composed and shot. Well deserved.

Interesting take and it does seem to reflect "Falling Apart" however the processing (while well edited) is a bit unbelievable in the sense that the "crackle finish" appears to be an overlay instead of being a part of the actual contour of the man's face. In that case it could be a "painting that is falling apart" but as it's not doing so in the hoodie area -- just his face -- I don't believe that's the intent.

He's also not reacting at all to his face falling apart, so that kills the effect for me.

First off, if that's Sodoku Rubik's Cube that's just plain evil! Processing and shadows a bit harsh. I get more a sense of coming apart not "falling apart" as it looks pretty new.

I have to read a lot in this to get "Falling Apart"... like the woman is estranged from her SO and "falling apart". But without the title and challenge theme, this image, to me, does nothing to convey that.
