Long Forgottenby HighwayFlowerComment: Oh boy, I so almost submitted a broken gravestone. I like yours better. Nice catch and good composition and degree of contrast and sat. |

Hillside Sunriseby GeneralEComment: I applaud your inclination to go natural. I wish photos didn't have to be radioactive to get a decent score on this site. The yellow in your alts seems like a little too much (to me), however, the submitted photo does appear to need some oomph. Not enough going on. If a different composition or a better defined/esthetically-pleasing tree were not available, I'd probably do as you did and mess with the sky color/texture, although not quite as extremely. Better luck next time ;-) |

Returning from the huntby jbsmithanaComment: Hi, I missed voting on this one. Looking now, I don't mind the OOF foreground and background (although could potentially lose a bit of the fore) - but given their blur, I want the eagle to really reward my eye. Ultra-clear focus might not have been possible with the motion on this one, but maybe you could dodge the bird's white parts - especially around the eye. Possibly even put some subtle dodging/halo around his whole body and multiply layers - get him to stand out more, contrast the background. Also, cropping a bit to make him more (off-) central to the composition could help too. Better luck next time :) |

Three Times A Dayby GolferDDSComment: Funny, original, colorful. Great title, very romantic import. Might wish for not so much white, but can see where you are making the colors stand out more. Looking forward to finding out who owns this sense of humor ;-) |

Inspiration lacking Romanceby gianpagComment: I like your idea of writing + inspiration +/- romance. However, the image looks too much like homework to me, which, while representing the unromantic, is not inspiring. Maybe I'm just missing something, or misinterpreting your title. Hope you'll explain about your vision post-challenge :) |
