This is SUPERB! Really. It jumped out at me from a mile off. That she is in white and he is in black is a real bonus. Even the 'thing' in the foreground by the water is interesting. This shot has so many levels - I can stop looking INTO it. |

That is a great photo. The location is very condusive to taking photos. But it is very difficult to get all the tiny parts of the citiscape lined up so that they do not conflict. The people and puddle make it even better. Nice one, I have been down there several times and shot a fair few photos without half as much success.... A darned stupid title, BTW.

Wouldn’t it be a disturbing discovery to actually find out that a large number of those who have rated this fine picture could actually be claiming some kind of acculturation, inclination or genuine artistic interest somehow linked to photography (other than the irresistible charms of micromechanics and the magic of applied optical physics, that is)?

JPR! I stand by my earlier comment; I still see a similarity to Ed's work. At the same time, it's easy to see how this fits into your own portfolio. The bridge in the background definitely helps give a final ID as yours :) |

Downright gorgeous lines, b&w was a good choice for this symmetrical yet off-centered image, love it, bumping up 9. |

This one has a nice feel to it...broad palette, begs to be hung on a wall in a large frame. Excellent stuff...though I'm still trying struggling with the title. |

Great photograph, love the contrast and tones. Tons of character, looks like it could of been taken sixty years ago. Excellent! |

I think you were trying to be a bit too clever with the title, but those are great lines and shapes. Good subject for black & white. |

beautiful, moody, great spot on the reflection. this is a clear 10. the toning works superbly, and the background just creates a very thought-provoking, as well as simply attractive, element.
I miss New York...JPR right? |

Phantastic shot. Good composition. You have given the bridge another point of view. Lovely romantic? couple, perhaps. Good job with the reflections. Superb |

Not sure what's off-centered here. I like the shot quite a lot, otherwise, nice exposure and composition. |

this is a fabulous shot...it's in perfect symmetry though...not sure where the off centre bit is. Is it in the couple...aaahh, yes, it is! I do love it and it will go in my favourites |
