Seaview Apartmentsby JedusiComment: Marchwood's an idyllic location :) Marvellous views of the container port and a handy incinerator, what more could you want? |

Approaching (CW)by Nadine_VbComment: As you've effectively asked for comments, here's mine:
It's an excellent capture, great colour, well exposed and in focus. I have a couple of problems though. In terms of composition I feel you could do with a bit more space at the top above the drop as it feels a bit too tight for comfort. I also feel the bright spot at the top left is something of a distraction.
I hope this is the sort of comment you were looking for. |

False Bravado (CW)by JokersSoulComment: As you've effectively asked for comments, here's mine:
I've given you a 6 because I like this. You've captured a good moment in time; it's in focus and exposed well and most importantly, it's interesting. My only wonder is could you have captured this from a lower angle? and got your subject isolated against the sky instead of half in front of the background.
I hope this is the sort of comment you were looking for. |

Hot Wheels Set (CW)by dtremainComment: As you've effectively asked for comments (is it working?) here's mine.
I'm not voting because I'm in this challenge, but I think I would have given you a 5. I like your subject and you've photographed them well, but I think the composition lets it down. I feel you might have been better separating the cars more and having them facing diagonally across the image - that way you would have the large area of negative space at the top.
Hope this is the sort of comment you're looking for. |

"Angel's Embrace" (CW)by JokersSoulComment: As you've effectively asked for comments (is it working?) here's mine.
I'm not voting because I'm in this challenge, but I think I would have given you a 5. It certainly fits the challenge. I like the composition and you've handled the exposure well. My major problem is that it doesn't look upright to me and I'm also not liking the wings being slightly out of focus.
Hope this is the sort of comment you're looking for. |

Life is colourful - Express yourself (CW)by Nadine_VbComment: As you've effectively asked for comments (is it working?) here's mine.
I'm not voting because I'm in this challenge, but I think I would have given you a 6. I like the "quality" of the image - i.e. it's in focus and exposed well, and more importantly I like the composition with the strong diagonals. As a "product" shot I'm not so sure about it. I feel that all the fragments make it look very messy so I don't think it sends the right message because of that.
Hope this is the sort of comment you're looking for. |
