I did some shots like this at the Sand Dunes in Colorado. Your shot reminds me of mine. Great job capturing thier energetic spirit of youth! I'm guessing top three! Good luck.

This has the composition of an Ansel Adam's shot, but not the editing. He makes the sky nearly black, and would have much more contrast in the mountains. I think you have the winning shot here, but only if you had edited it more in Ansel's style. Beautiful shot! Take care,

WOW, very under rated. This was one of my 10's. I think more contrast in the waves would have helped your score, but I enjoyed the dynamics of the photo, even though I do not think it has been processed to its full, optimal potential. Great image and I'm happy to have seen it.

I have three boys and my youngest broke his leg earlier this year. I hated seeing him in pain, and I can't imagine having a child going through it multiple times. I will add Andrew to our prayer list and I wish him and your family well...

Was this in Colorado Springs? I had a guy that looks like this come to my door and ask if I needed any concrete work done (driveway, sidewalks, etc). I will never forget his amazing eyes, and this guy really looks like him!
