my palby lynnmarieComment: Has potential, however the doorframe or whatever it is on the left really takes your eyes away from the subject. I would personally have scored this image higher if it was cropped to remove the left margin. |

Beauty and the Beastby yakatmeComment: The picture would have more impact if you weren't trying to get the whole head of the alligator in the shot, and focused more on the part of the head above water with the dragonfly. Good pic though. (5) |

First Light on A Foggy Morning Fogby BrianRComment: Now, this picture confuses me. It wow's me then I think wait a minute what's going on here. Regardless I like it and it's unique. A little grainy, no defined focus point (seems a tad out of focus) but it adds to the photo. (7) |

Water Snakeby davidx76Comment: This is a great photo, however the colors of the subject(s)and the background are so similar that the subject doesn't "pop" out. Also the focus seem to be more on the fish than the snake. Maybe a more angled profile shot from the right would have served this picture better. (5) |
