First Light on A Foggy Morning

Taken 6.25am, from the top of a hill looking south. There was a nice fog down low to the ground, in the distance the tops of the trees were just visible, waited for the sun to rise, and tried to get the first rays on the trees , as it rose above the hills.

I think I would of liked this better if it was zoomed in more. Seems to distant to see any detail.

I've rated 303 images so far in this free study. Yours is one of my top 5.The light and the colors are great. That fog covering trees and fields in the background leads they eye into the foreground to the area getting the first rays. Really like this.

It looks kind of oversharpened, especially on the trees. The color change is nice - turning the fog blue. I wonder what it would have done in B&W?

Amazing color pallette here, so richly colored and looks like it from another planet, fantastic light, and this is just an awesome scene......
Truely breathtaking image, and really hope it does well.....

Absolutely gorgeous venue but maybe a hair oversaturated/color tweaked? Fog is a bit too blue to me.

Very nice. I think I'd cut more from the sky, since it really isn't all that interesting.

Love the colour tones in this one, I wish the crop had been a little different, less in front but overall I like it, good luck.

What a serene scene. I really love blue tones in a photo like this. I also like how you can see the morning light alpenglow on the trees. Very pretty!!!

Now, this picture confuses me. It wow's me then I think wait a minute what's going on here. Regardless I like it and it's unique. A little grainy, no defined focus point (seems a tad out of focus) but it adds to the photo. (7)

Bizarre palette! Not sure how I feel about it but it is striking.
