Chevyby jackal9Comment: Like this one, but I would have preferred it a bit more contrasty though. |

Norman Bates Collectionby wingyisleedsComment: Interesting shot, great lgihting, but the large dark area on the lower part of the picture (the knife holder) is not interesting and takes away from the more interesting knife handles. A crop up higher might have been a bit better imo. I also get the feeling of the scissors being a bit too crowded on the L. 7

Buner Sans Flameby LonzComment: Interesting shot, I would have liked to see the grill arms(?) sharp, and for a centered composition, it would be better to have more symmetry, the very high contrast, bright areas on the UR and LR are distracting. 6

Arizona Wild Flowersby psartComment: Better compostion that the other ones, imo, still needs some work on your border with the partial flower on the bottom. Beautiful light though.

Arizona Landscapesby psartComment: Hi Dennis, thought I would offer a few thoughts about your shot. I like the processing, I've got a few like this on here as well. You've done a nice job with htat. From a technical standpoint your photo looks well exposed, good color (maybe just a hint of a blue color contrast which often happens with a bright sky like you have), and nice and sharp. from a compositional standpoint there are a few things that don't really work for me. First the cactus is dead center and tends to become a "hard stop" keep ing the viewer trapped on one side or the other, a different pov and positioning the object at 1/3 on either side would help. Review the pictures in the "Rule of Thirds Challenge" to get an idea. You've also got some branches, leaves, etc on your borders that compete with your main idea. As one of my teachers once said "didn't do your border patrol". Anyway, hope this helps, keep shooting.
