Waiting for the windby indy79Comment: Nice composition. I feel you can strengthen it even more by cropping out more of the sky at the top and on the right side as well. |

Field of Dreamsby PedroComment: What immediately caught my attention here is the odd dissociation and seperation/space between this just married bride and groom with the stark expression on their faces. It's as if there's no unity between them and yet it's a wedding picture. It's the exact opposite of the sense of romance and love one would expect a picture of a newly wed couple to show. Makes one wonder what's going on there. |

Chicago's Night Lightsby NerdJNerdBirdComment: Straightening the picture would help it along quite a lot - the buildings and lamp posts are leaning. Other than that this "night light / light streak" theme is done so often that if it's not done uniquely or really well, it's just uninteresting. |

Junk Artby jmritzComment: The junk I can see, I'm not so sure about the art however. The subject is not obvious and my eyes wonder around looking for it and it almost feels dissatisfying not to find an obvious subject to look at - all I see is colorful junk. Perhaps having a leading focal point of some sorts will help the composition. Even if the junk collectively is your subject, it doesn't stand out from the background and it gives me an uncomfortable feeling of untidiness and cluttering - Almost like my home on a Sunday morning after Saturday night's party. :) |

Cheryl's Smileby albc28Comment: Nice sharp focus on the eyes - I can see her contact lenses :) One thing I would try and improve are the hotspots of flash reflections from parts of her skin. |

8 Sides to Every Storyby BugzeyeComment: I find the composition a bit plain and flat. It's a picture of a building and nothing in it really commands my attention. The branches in the foreground distracts and they have some halos around it from the sharpening process (I get that a lot too from oversharpening sometimes) Also from the looks of it it appears hexagonal with only 6 sides and not 8 (assuming this is what you implied in your title). At the moment it looks like an oversharpened snapshot. Perhaps you can play around with the composition a bit to make it interesting, like a shallow DOP, or a wide-angle shot from an interesting perspective or something. |

Friends at Sunsetby bobdaveantComment: Nice, clean and simple. I would've cropped a bit tighter at the bottom to exclude that black band formed by the wave - it distracts a bit. Also then your composition will conform to the rule of thirds (not that it has to, but personally I feel it would give it a bit more of a balanced feel) and have more of a sense of calmness which it prortrays nicely. |

After the Stormby mexicoComment: Love the rich colors and tonal range. Has almost a dream like fantasy feel to it. Very well done. |
