A Monumental Night in Washington D.C.by daverx7Comment: Wow!!! Outstanding capture! This picture is very well balanced, even with the empty space in the upper left. I love the way the two small boats are caught by the reflections in the water from their respective light sources. Also, that's one hell of a fireball fireworks! Almost seems to be a UFO out of Strange Encounters of the Third Kind. Are you sure that it's not really abducting earthlings? :) Excellent job! |

Boats on July 4thby InnaNComment: Very nice composition...the only thing to improve there is the slightly cut off skyscrapper on the left. Also, I would liked to have seen this picture darker with some more contrast to bring out the lights in the water and buildings. I think this would also improve color saturation as well. Good job on compostion! |

Dallas Alley by crabappl3Comment: Very effective night shot. I like the perspective created by the rings of light and it's off-center placement. Also like the skyskraper in the background. Nice job. |

Night Walkerby catpixelComment: Focus is too soft thougout the whole picture. It would be much better had the woman on the left been in focus more since she seems to be the subject of your photo. |

gettin' down/ a night on the townby pupparazzoComment: Love the composition and the DOF is very effective here. What I don't like: glass leans inward, excessive noise, harsh lighting (wish it were softer) and one of the pool balls behind the glass is slightly showing which I find to be distracting. I would normally mark down for these flaws, but the composition and DOF is so strong that I"m going to give you a high mark. I would hope you would make this available as a print once it's cleaned up. Good job! |

A Family Tradition by moodvilleComment: Very nicely captured rich and smooth duotones. I also like the silhouetted crowd in the foreground. The way you''ve captured the fireworks is really good. Excellent work. |

Flirtingby heidaComment: I find the picture imbalanced with two glasses and just one face. Your subject's smile and vivaciousness is very attractive and certainly captures what appears to be a very pleasant meeting. DOF is excellent but I find focus could have been sharper on the woman's face. In addition, I think the photo would have been more effective in color. |

Sidewalk readingby jjbeguinComment: Absolutely gorgeous, rich, and smooth red tones. Just wish the cars weren't there, and find the reflection in the windshield to be very distracting. Also, would have liked the building on the far left to have been cropped out. |

Open all nightby joannadivaComment: Your subject does not look like he's enjoying having his picture taken, but you look to be having a grand time, in three different places in the photo! In addition, the right side of the picture is muddled with the outside reflection of cars. I at least hope the food was good at this dinner :) |
