I find the colors a little too saturated so much that they obsucre the interesting objects in the scene, but I like this photo and think it's very interesting. to look at. It's got an exotic look

Purple

Terrific detail and the focus is right on. Great color... the purple is very vivid. So life like I feel I could just reach in and pluck one! If the image has any shortcoming, I believe it to be it's composition. The right hand side of the photo bothers me slightly in that the green leaf stands in competition to the main flowers. . But all in all, this is my favorite image for this challenge and I gave it the highest score.

Wonderful and simple photo. The colors are great. The only thing I can see improving is the light reflections in the apple and pepper. Maybe a more diffuse, and less harsh light would have been better.

Wonderful detail and a very dramatic shot with the charcoal background. I do think that you need some fill light to lighten the petal closest to the camera at the bottom of the picture.

I like the backlit flowers but am kind of bothered by the highlight on the table which is very distracting. Still gave you a high mark.

Mardi Gras

Great photo...it really captures the festiveness and gaity of Mardi Gras. I love the extras you added to accomplish this, such as, the streamers on the sides and the sequence scattered about, all done very aesthetically. I also like the soft shadows. Only thing I would like to have seen, is a spot light on the feathers, or maybe some fill flash to illuminate the top feathers a bit better.

Secondary Sunset

Very neat composition and I like the way you've captured the green water in the foreground and the orange sunset in the background. I do think that the exposure is a bit too dark and would have preferred a more saturated sunset, but shooting into the sun is difficult.
