I think a 6 is fairly good. But the world is going to end; you have blown out areas. Personally, I like the composition. Maybe for a photo like this, a portrait crop would work better, but I'm no expert to say. As far as story and emotion go, there isn't all that much, however it does leave room for some (again, in my personal view). I would probably have voted 6, maybe 7, depending on the time of day, the position of the moon, sunspots, etc.

Did you try this in colour? The rich colour of coffee is so wonderful it almost seems a shame to B&W it out. I love the idea here. :)
