 Title after the Ray Bradbury short story. It is the season for it after all.

Great challenge subject. odriew has long been one of my favourite DPC photographers and is a total inspiration.

Thanks for all the great comments. My first Blue! I'm very pleased that i got it in this sort of challenge. As i said above - odriew has long been a favourite here.

The essentials of odriew (light, toning, captivating model) with that special touch of Clive's gorgeous gal. Those eyes... she's got those killer eyes. Excellent DOF. That wee bit of window-shaped light beyond is the perfect balance.

I like the atmosphere and the processing, but the top left part of the background seems distracting. I get the feeling that what lay to the right of the little girl might have worked better?

8 from me... I love that turning back look in the tall grass.

Would have been a 9 if that light spot in the upper portion had been cropped out so it's not competing with that gorgeous FACE!
