Great shadow. Not sure I like the camera tilt. Makes my neck hurt tilting to the side to see the detail. A shot of the building at an angle other than nearly straight on would add interest and more perspective to the scene.

Architecture III Take II

Since the theme for the challenge was "Architecture", this rendition is much more suited to the theme. I do agree, a priest, nun or worshiper posed off center left and not blocking any delightful architectural details would make an excellent 'Evironmental Portrait'. It is totally dependant on the intent of the photograph. Both images are well lighted, composed, and captured. Had I been available to vote on this challenge, I would have given a 10 for this one. Well done!

If the arms would have been forward out of the light source or camera view it would have given a more natural look and curve to the left back area. The lighting and skin tones are great though. Bumping up....8
