Grandma's Revisitedby messerschmittComment: Nice image, a great find or well planned!
The crop at the top is just a bit low. It looks a tiny bit overexposed too. |

Bus Stopby gsalComment: Nice composition and the lighting is just right.
It has a nice feel to it though the wall behind the subject is just a little too distracting. The soft focus on the subject works well but not with the sharp wall. Focusing slightly in front of the subject may have been better, or slightly behind with a large aperture for a small depth of field.
Overall I like it. |

Into The Secret Gardenby xXxscarletxXxComment: Wow what a stunner.
Right from the start something about this image bothered me Γ’ not that it was wrong or defective Γ’ just strange. Something made it unsettling, as it is clearly meant to be. Then it hit me Γ’ the background is sharper than the foreground Γ’ and it works! My eye constantly wants to focus on the sharp background but then sneaks back for another look at that face Γ’Β¦ Boo!
Great stuff. |

Martini Greenby scarbrdComment: A superbly crafted image! Tremendous impact.
I find the absence of an opposing thumb slightly disturbing (clearly I am easily disturbed) even though I know by logic that the image is correct and the thumb is simply too low to see. This is very trivial and only crept up on me after several seconds - but now it wont go away ... arrgghh. Where are my pills, I need to lay down. |
