Had a great time doing this: "Ant terrorising aphids"

Used a old 50mm F1.8 reversed on the efs 60mm macro, held on with elastic bands and finally got round to making a milk bottle diffuser for my sigma 550. It looked a bit 'heath robison'... but it worked. Initally I used a monopod, but it gave me sea-sickness (seriously!!!) so i used a tripod. Had to manual focus, didnt always work, but i got some great shots. I chose this one as I like the red branch running diagonally across the frame and i think the way the ant is chasing the greenfly adds a sense of danger. I fully expect to get slammed in voting, as its not very pretty and there isnt a woman in a head-scarf... also its not as sharp as I'd hope, the ant is a bit out of focus. I'm really looking forward to your comments!

Crazy macro! To the point of seeing a waterdrop on the end of the pincer of the want. Cool shot, but doesn't really say green to me though. 7

Excellent macro shot. The only things I might wish for would be to get rid of the out of focus green stem on the bottom edge and a shade more DOF.
