DSC_6712bweb.jpgby carisakD70Comment: I'll go along with klstover on everything, including the contrast. I learned a very useful trick with curves. Try raising the highlights (right-most of the three vertical lines) while dropping the shadows (left-most of the three). |

I think this is a very strong composition. The eyes immediately grab me, and then the hair and facial lines lead my eye down to those sensuous lips.
The high contrast - can't decide if I really like it or if the left side's a little too bright.
What I would suggest, though, is that you crop it just below the bottom of the chin or retake it without the choker. As it is, I feel like the head is floating separately from the torso. But that's minor. |

My only suggestion is to crop it tighter on the right (e.g., just to the right of the top of the main stroke). I think that'll really emphasize the vertical main stroke and focus attention on it by dropping some empty space.
That is, emphasize the vertical the same way this shot emphasizes the horizontal speed:  |
