Dragonflyby LydiaComment: Nicely shot and composed. The subject stands out well and the background colors complement the dragonfly's. Compositionally, I think it might work better flipped horizontally. Here, my eye stops at the subject and everything to the right is kind of wasted space; with it flipped, my eye would travel naturally across the image to the dragonfly, and the green space would serve as a pathway to the subject. |

Bridge Girdersby DistantColoursComment: Great use of the photo's tall, skinny shape. I like how the central line drives my eye downward with the interesting rivet pattern as a reward for exploring. |

Summer's Golden Bountyby Jules1xComment: A beautiful use of color and texture to fill the long photo. My only quibble is that the sky is so skinny as to distract me with sort of a false top to the photo. Still, an 8 from me! |

Father and sonby lei_73Comment: Very nice composition with a lovely, soft color behind. You used the shape of the photo very well to tell the story! |

Banana Leafby MondComment: Fascinating series of repeating shapes and textures, fit well into the long photo shape. |

A Sliver of Joyby Art RoflmaoComment: Strong emotion conveyed through a very pretty image. My only concern is the large dark space at the bottom, which seems to rob it of the light feeling of the joyous pose. When I zoom way in, I can it's pebbles, but a combination of the narrow photo and the large gray expanse of the DPC background makes it look like a single black space at normal size. That's minor, though; I voted this an 8. |

We are so small by Alex_PetriniComment: Love the layers of color in the sky and the nice, dark silhouette. Great job filling the long photo, and very good composition choice. |

la différenceby herfotomanComment: Interesting, unusual way to use repeating shapes to fill the long frame.I like the choice of B&W here, too. |

Dad's Gardenby Penny LaneComment: You did a terrific job of filling this long, narrow photo with multiple round subjects. The colors and shapes are very nice. My only suggestion is to crop out the green space on the left. You don't have to use a full 800 pixels, or you could zoom in a bit more on the flowers. But that's minor; I voted this an 8. |

Inferno IIby banmornComment: Very pretty! Nice job finding a way to fill the long, thin photo with what sees to be a round flower. |
