One - 1/3/19by colorcarnivalComment: the choice of focus makes it look like the angel is floating towards us as we look - kinda creepy, but very effective :) |

#2 - Icy Sunriseby pmichaudComment: I feel like there's a texture applied here, but I may be wrong - in any case, the textural look overall has the effect of making the icicles seem to have frozen into and of a piece with the blue sky and snow beyond it, which is very fitting :) |

Hummerby MelethiaComment: good heavens, that sheen coming off its head is wonderful :) really distinctive, and well-contrasted with the otherwise "drab" environment of the composition |

E.2.DSCF7614by mariucaComment: such calm serenity on her face - I cannot dance, and cannot imagine being this calm and collected as I try to remember where to put my feet :) |

E.3.DSCF7600by mariucaComment: lovely swing of movement across this aided by the lean and posture of the arms, and the calm, restful expression on the man lends an odd point of stillness to an otherwise kinetic image |

E.4.DSCF7599by mariucaComment: good separation of foreground/background, and the detail captured in his hair really centers the image |

E.5.DSCF7593by mariucaComment: I can see from the collection that they are dancing, but at first glance I thought the woman was assisting the man to stand/walk - I like the ambiguity of the pose captured here. |

longingby instepsComment: it's funny the first thing I thought of when I saw this diptych was the children's string game, Cat's Cradle :) - I love how the wires almost seem to be communicating with each other |
