Country Walkby mistComment: There's a touch HDR unreality to the colors, but I think you reigned it in quite well and the overall effect is warm and stunning. Shows how observant I am, I'm so dazzled by the warm effect at the bottom half of the image that I didn't notice your sky/trees edge until reading your comment just now. :) |

Refugeby quiet_observationComment: I quite liked this when I first saw it, particularly the way the posts lead you in and take you back around the other way. For my own tastes I would have cropped just a bit of the sky off the top. |

Skip Togetherby jaysonmcComment: I think the crop version improves on the original - the couple are still on the periphery of the composition which is a nice touch, but now they're much more easily seen - also the crop seems to bring out more interesting detail in that thing (what is it?) out in the water on the right. Overall the nice rosy glow is attractive, and you've got great light shining off the water. |

Towersby bmartuchComment: I thought this was a striking image when I first saw it, and think the staggered asymmetry of the towers (heights and overall design) keep it interesting. |

Florida Wetlandsby JuliBocComment: With such a wide variety of flora in the shot, I agree with the others that the shot would have been improved by greater sharpness, so we can better distinguish the details. I've only had success myself with HDR with absolutely static images, good on you for giving something "live" a go! |

Little Manby rossbillyComment: This is just such an amazing capture and great framing. I give this a ten for it's luck and originality (I say "luck" because I'm assuming your "man" was a happy accident). If I had to find something to improve, I would say next time avoid the necklace and fingernail polish, to minimize any potential distractions from the main subject. |

ode to forksby saintaugustComment: I like the shapes you were going for here, but think the image suffers from being over-lit. |

as much fun, as ...by bvlindalouComment: Like how you got level with the subject here - the way the handle juts off to the left is distracting though, and unbalances the composition which is otherwise set up to be fairly symmetrical. Perhaps it would have been better to use a pot without a handle like that, like with two small handles on either side? |
