I'm watching eweby dalel1035Comment: You will probably get a few low votes for having color in this image but I think the sepia like tone over the color helps the artistic effect you were going for. Very creative. 7
Back to bump: The more I look at this image the more I like it. This probably won't make it on the front page but it does go into my favorites. 10 |

A Journey Into The Pastby rebel36Comment: The image looks a little soft (out of focus). I'm guessing that you didn't sharpen the image after downsizing for the challenge. Your image could also benefit from a bit more contrast to help separate the car from the background. If you are unsure how to do these adjustments, send me a PM after the challenge and I'll be happy to work through it with you. 5 |

Centered Sunshineby missxmiseryComment: Back to comment and bump: Glad I had the time to come back and revisit this entry. Nicely arranged and the post processing is well done. A tad more light on the main subject would have pushed this into the 9-10 range for me. As is, a very well deserved 7. |

Dusk in Polandby JasComment: Back to comment and bump: I've looked at this image 4 times and I can find no excuse not to give it a ten. So I will. What a well spotted scene and the post processing is exceptional. |

Petalsby JeniYComment: Back to comment and bump: I orginally gave this a 5, as my definition of centered was dead center both horizontal and vertical. Taking a second look, you did a really nice job with the shallow focus and the lighting. The only suggestion I have for improvement would be to include the ladies eyes in the image. It would have really strengthened the connection between the flower and the lady for me. Bumping to a 7. |

In the spotlightby TUBORGComment: Back to comment: What's not to love about the hair style? I find it difficult to make a connection with the subject with his eyes facing up and out of the image. It also appears as if the back (his left) eye is in better focus than the front eye. This might be an illusion related to the stronger white tone of the back eye from the side light. I bet mom still loves it. |
