God's Plan?by mbardeenComment: *Critique Club*
This definately leaves me with one real question and you also said it Why?
You had fantastic texture here. The focus is really good. The lighting works well here, it helps create the feeling you get as you realize a child was taken.
Overall it is a very nice shot.

Zero spot editing. How? by kiwinessComment: *Critique Club*
Fantastic photo. Its hard to actually do a critique on. I think the extent you went to, to get this is great. The photo is not only an attention getter but it also is a work of art in itself.
Your blue is such a pretty shade, the focus is really good. The entire concept of how you did it is really neat. There isn't a thing I would change in this image for a challenge but I might touch it up slightly along the seam before printing it. Get rid of the rough spot in the seam to the right of the glass and make it a prefect print.

I used to be white UNTILby ladpupmoeComment: Critique Club
At first glance I am thinking you used some ketchup on that ball. No matter what you did it is very different effect. I am sure you took the photo of the ball as it was moving and the biggest issue with that is the ball is slightly out of focus, possibly an unsharpening mask might have helped with this.
The composition isn't bad the idea is definately there and it obviously meets the challenge.

The Floaterby RiderGalComment: *Critique Club*
It's definately an interesting image. Can't decide which works better with it they way you have it or if it would have worked better cropping everything out but your Mom and letting it appear as if she was floating in mid air.
Not matter which you would do it still leaves some unanswered questions about the photo.
I am guessing this was a pond and that is how you got the water so dark. Your focus here is really good not only are your toes in focus so is your Mom.
It really is a cool interuptation for the challenge. Nicely done.

Perfect visionby pitsamanComment: The detail here is beautiful. Wonderful use of dof. How close were you to get this? I got to say it is a 10 just cause of the wonderful rainbow effect you captured in the birds neck. |

Out on town / waiting for a loved oneby SharQComment: Critique Club
Even without the title the first thought I got was he is sitting there passing the time waiting for his date to show up so I guess that said the title works with the photo.
Overall the focus of this photo is good and there is a definate limited dof keeping the man in the photo the primary subject.
I feel like there is something missing through, perhaps a little more of the atmosphere being recognizable would have made it score higher than it did.
It meets the challenge and definately does have an appeal to it, nicely done and I will be looking forward to seeing more of your work.
