Pincushionby BigSmilesComment: Really great idea for this Challenge. Nice colours. Good focus to a point. Did you fade out on the right on purpose? Because it's all out of focus over there and on the bottom from the yellow pin on down. |

Earringsby scrooslooseComment: Nice clarity, good color, good background, lighting seems fine.
One earring seems opened up a bit and the other is tightly closed, could you not have fixed this? And what is that little white spot just below the earring on the black background? You've also lost the lighting on the gold siding on the right side of the earring on the Right Earring. Nice photo, but you have to watch out for these points in future. Don't take me as being negative, just trying to help out.

A Tiger In My Bouquetby GallatinComment: Lovely flower to just sit and look at. The colors are magnificent and you've caught them just wonderfully. Lighting is great as is the focus. I like your choice of framing with the (gold?) inside. My one concern on flowers is why people cut off petals when they crop. Why not include the whole flower to enjoy? It's a beautul flower, why ruin it. . . |

stone macroby MajorChaosComment: Lovely colours in the various stones. Good lighting, can't do anything with the bouncing of light with stones. How come you show a red border on the bottom, but not anywhere else? In a contest, you'd get tossed. Here, you only get a 6 instead of a 7. Sorry. |

In the Spotlightby aussieComment: Really nice job of capturing this young fellow! I'm enjoying the colours on his back. I'd be interested in knowing what you used for lighting purposes. Was it white or . . . It's good lighting by the way, good focus, nice and crisp and clear.
MY only dislikes are the dark corner, bottom right and the top left, thought perhaps you could have continued your lighting all the way up in those areas or continuity. |

The Nuts N Boltsby dg02Comment: So, did you use colour lighting here? It looks great! Nice close focus, good and sharp too, I like the way you can see the nails in the bottom. Your thin black framing suits this photograph. |

Wilting Awayby jenaromComment: You show nice color of the flower as it's life decays. It's very distinctive with the black background. You've also given it good lighting from above. |

This one for you!by pitsamanComment: Good colour on the flower and the stem. Lighting seems okay also, but it's a bit dark in the middle top. Good choice for the background. Nice framing. |

Gears at Noonby HBunchComment: Great focus, good sharpness too. I like the colour that you've captured. Looks like the hammer was starting to move towards the bell. I think the lighting was just a bit bright at the top of the photo. |
