The Circle of lifeby BAMartinComment: interesting attempt at a 'cradle to the grave' shot. Shame the reflection isn't stronger from the stone but the light isn't helping you here. |

Home Improvementby ssComment: Interesting, light to dark and old to new for the windows. Exposure is a bit blown out on the light side - though it would be hard to get balanced. Overall not really sharp enough to have much bite. Good attempt. |

Stay On Trackby D-ManComment: cool shot - good leading lines through the picture and interesting contrast with the sunlight and shadow. Framing could maybe have had the track to the right of the shot a bit more to fill the empty space ? |

Lifestages in Pinkby sulamkComment: nicely composed. shot is a bit out of focus on the foreground leaf which is irritating - might have been worth getting rid of that one. Good attempt. |

Resurrectionby greenem2Comment: interesting interpretation, I'm sure you'll stir up some unkind comments. Well composed but the lighting needs some work. Perhaps a white card/ sheet of paper as a reflector to the right and pointing down would have lightened the shadows to the right of the cross ? You want to keep some of them but lighten them. Good attempt. |

Spring!by KarenBComment: cool action shot - definatly a keeper. The background is too cluttered though, which distracts from the subject - a different location would have cleaned that up a lot. |

Cleansingby ReubenComment: I can tell it is a cat, but too much very similar texture and not enough focal point - like a good human portrait you need to see the eyes or the face. Seems a bit blurred in the upper right. |

Got Toast?by arnitComment: Would love to see this a few seconds later to see how it all 'goes down'. Origiinal concept, well executed. The light on the guy's face isn't very well considered - needs some fill flash to balance his left hand side. |

Shogunby drewmediaComment: cool environmental portrait of this guy working. Bit blurred though - some flash might have helped stop everything more effectively. |
