i tried a shot like this with roses but was never happy with how fresh they looked in a picture, and have the same reaction to these. it feels a bit oversharpened too, but i really like the concept. :)

This appears a bit busy to me. Too many things going on that I can't settle my eyes on any one thing. I'm not sure how I would have solved that (sorry...)

This seems a little cluttered. The dark leaf on the dark background is distracting.

Definitely contains all the different life stages. Nice idea. The photo is a little too busy for my liking though, and the cut-off petals to the left of the picture are distracting.

nicely composed. shot is a bit out of focus on the foreground leaf which is irritating - might have been worth getting rid of that one. Good attempt.
