    Biography: Updated in 2012. And then I had kids in 2007 and 2010 and sort of fell of the edge of the world, it seems. I'm now slowly starting to regain "my" life, and have a new camera and lens on order and want to start up taking photos of things other than my kids (as much as I like taking their photos) again. So, I think I'm back. :)

    I became serious about photography at the end of 2001 when I bought my first digital camera. Before that, i had simply "dabbled" in vacation photography using film cameras. Digital photography opened up a whole new world for me. The opportunity to take endless amounts of photos of the same thing to get the shot just right. The instant gratification of immediately seeing my photo. At the end of 2002, I upgraded to a digital SLR (Nikon D100) to benefit from the best of both worlds.
