Zenby CoreyComment: seems almost too saturated- the water blue in particular is really ove the top - a good subject for the challenge though and nice light |

The Flatiron Buildingby tomzinhoComment: unfortunatly this also seems to be the flat contrast building - a good subject but the exposure needs some work - sky is over exposed and th contrast is very low - there doesn't seem to be anything black at all in this - just mid greys and white |

Dark Lightby moonoComment: intriquing and abstract - would like this as a larger print - maybe turned 90 degrees? |

Melodious Resonatorby mcraelComment: lovely colour balance as well as the diagonal symmetry. Have you tried it rotated 180 degrees, with the heavier, darker region on the bottom ? Less tension |

Red Hot!by FiverComment: good pattern and symmetry but the foreground is pretty difficult to make out what it actually is. |

Boston Bridgeby mvilborgComment: bridge really feels like a secondary element in this - almost impossible to see and the shot is dominated by the skyline/reflection, not the bridge. |

Niles Canyon Railwayby TarbiniComment: very well composed with the low camera angle - making good use of strong leading lines and interesting textures - good DoF throughout the shot although the white sky is less appealing. It does construct a triangle that encourages focus to the main bridge though, so I think it still works. I get the feeling that neatimage was used on this, to get the blurry but still sharp effect - not sure how much I really like that though I've started seeing it quite often. If it wasn't done using neatimage, I'd like to know how you processed the shot to get this effect. A good study of an old bridge. |
