This appears to have taken some preparation to accomplish (good effort). I find myself drawn to the floor though, (mainly because the debris and the white string) and would have prefered being directed more toward the great portraits. Neat pic!

When I starting looking over all the TIME entries, I was hoping to find some good examples that would pull off the challenge without using a 'clock'..... What I am finding is that the better photos (in most cases) include clocks of some kind. I can't fault those who took great shots with 'clock' subject matter now can I?

I find your choice of orientation and composition to be very pleasing and a nice departure. Nice job!

Nice idea (and departure from the clocks). I expect that a 'passing along' to the next generation is being insinuated. I think a grayscale/desaturated version of this might have been interesting touch as well. Good job!

I really like the 'parking meter' idea, but I think waiting for brighter day and finding a more as aesthetically pleasing meter would have produced nicer results. I find this a bit on the dark side (could be my monitor though).
