Mogwaiby pixelpigComment: Truly an interesting shot. This wee beastie has such character and is sure to enjoy many DPChallenge modeling opportunities in the future. Just thinking perhaps that she looks a bit like the dog which had a cameo role in that excellent movie "In Bruges".... brilliant! |

A Storyby heidaComment: Ah I am good - this was my choice for blue or red! Had no idea it was yours though - had a thought it was DrAchoo...nevertheless fantastic! Message edited by author 2009-09-16 00:44:29. |

Huldraby BJokerudComment: Wow - expecting this in the top 5. Perfect rule of thirds, fantastic desat and a gorgeous model with dramatic hair. Great use of grain for the background. |

Girlby lovethelightComment: One of my top 5 for the challenge. It's such an unanticipated moment in time - a capture of the unexpected. Lovely grain. A real tribute to Heida's "other" style. |

A Storyby heidaComment: This is one of my favourites for this challenge. Although traditionally awkward with the foreground figure out of focus, it does the job of leaving him something of a dark mystery and pulls the eye down the road to the child. The story that's unfolding goes far beyond the image and off the page. What I find unusual is the fact that he's looking away from her, and off to the left, behind him...so carrying the story further. The leading path ties it all together. Beautiful processing on the woodland too - wonderful light. Good Luck! |

Goddess of the Windby DrAchooComment: An amazing capture - not sure if this is entirely Heida-esque, but it should do well nevertheless. A very intense stare and beautiful movement in the hair. |

Unearthly Things by rinacComment: Definitely a Heida poetry and moodiness... Beautiful composition and extra marks for originality and not replicating Heida's work. |

Lonleyby heavyjComment: Very beautiful - just a pity about the white rectangular reflection in her eye ... detracts from the softness of the composition and edit. |
