Autumn Heliumby timfythetooComment: tee hee I'm good - spotted you! Sheesh, reading through your comments is interesting. You got really long and detailed comments with such a mix of reactions.... interesting exercise... bet you are saying to yourself "note to self: in future beware soft focus...voters are a bit suspicious of it...". Well done on your strong finish. |

Field with pigeonsby MelethiaComment: This is very pretty - what processing did you use on the tree section (they look as if they've been painted in oils). |

Aluminum - San Marino 10 Lire Coinby Marc923Comment: Um... money shots in general don't get me too exhilerated... coins and bank notes: can't quite work out why they keep coming up in abundance in every challenge. I grasp that in this challenge they really do meet the challenge topic, but I've seen soooooo many in other challenges, that this doesn't make an image of currency interesting at all. Sorry. |

Protecting the Family Jewels (C = Carbon)by JudiComment: This is a very creative take on the topic. It's full of careful planning and thought... I think however, a tighter crop would have helped you. I must admit to not "seeing" what I was looking at on first viewing - I could see the shoe, but then I didn't at first make out the little horny devil ... thought perhaps it was a twisted bit of brown stocking or something: and then I saw him! Anyway, just to give you an idea of what I was seeing and what my initial reaction was. Perhaps a tighter crop and a warmer light to pull the eye in? |

Fe (loses against two O's)by Shy ClickerComment: Lovely background Bokeh, and a terrific subject. I think that the bright sunlight has not served you well - a bit harsh on the highlights - I might have opted for a more subdued, diffuse light to bring out the warm tones of the rust... but then that's a subjective opinion ;-) |
