Machine Magicby JeniYComment: I love the colour you've chosen for this. The machine foot looks as if it's part of an old machine...lovely patina. Inspiring...! |

Sky High Fish Eye Lensby justamistereComment: You sent mail asking me: Pleas let me know, why do you thought that my photo-entry for Sky, titled "Sky High Fish Eye Lens", did not meet the challenge? I know it did need some technical improvements. I learned it is hard to photograph a fish, closeup, from the side, in an aquarium. They just keep turning to see you.
Recently, the **First place winner** for "Dirt" had mostly, pictures of cows.
It could have been shot at a lower angle with More of the dirt showing to Emphasis Dirt, which was the challenge. That seemed an excellent entry for an "Animal" or "Cow" Challenge. Yet it came in 1st place.
DNMC: "Make the sky a key element of your photograph". When the image is first uploaded, I see an out of focus fish. Because this is a "Sky" challeneg, I sit and wonder what a fish ahs to do with the challenge....then I see the refelection in the fish's eye and realise what you were going for. The sky is not a "key element of your photograph"...but just my opinion. |

Druids Dessertby smurfguyComment: Interesting composition and subject: I just find the out fo focus hand a bit too dominant in the foreground: Foreground is such a powerful position in any art and I believe you must be careful with what you put in it...OOF works sometimes, but here I find it too overpowering. |
